A prestigious school in Winchester is seeking a passionate Chef to join its professional catering team on a full-time, term time contract.
The Role
Prepare fresh, high-quality meals for pupils and staff
Work across all kitchen sections, including hot kitchen, pastry, larder, desserts, and bakery
Produce cakes, traybakes, biscuits, and desserts from scratch
Run kitchen shifts independently (approx. 80 covers daily)
Support hospitality, functions, receptions, afternoon teas, and special events
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP compliance About You
Experienced Chef de Partie or Sous Chef
Strong all-round fresh food skills, including pastry
Confident leading a kitchen shift independently
Experience in schools, contract catering, hotels, or events desirable
Organised, reliable, and team-focused Hours
40 hours per week
