How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial and industrial developments, contributing to projects from the early design stages through to construction. You will work closely with experienced engineers and technicians while being given the autonomy to manage your own workload and take ownership of technical delivery.
    The Role
    You will be responsible for:

·Working closely with structural engineers, architects and other design disciplines
·Identifying and resolving technical and coordination issues
·Supporting projects from concept design through to construction
·Maintaining high standards of drawing quality and document control
·Contributing to the continued development of BIM and Revit processes
    About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
·Approximately five or more years' experience within a structural engineering or construction environment
·Strong working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD
·Experience producing structural drawings for residential, commercial and industrial projects
·A good understanding of structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber construction
·Strong coordination and technical detailing skills
·The ability to work independently and manage competing project deadlines
·Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
·A desire to continue developing technically and take on greater project responsibility
    Why Join?
This role offers more than simply producing drawings. You will have the opportunity to become an important part of a collaborative technical team, work on a wide variety of projects and have genuine input into how schemes are developed and delivered.
    You can expect:
    ·Varied and technically interesting projects
·The opportunity to take ownership of your work
·Greater involvement throughout the full project lifecycle
    ·Supportive and approachable senior management
    ·Ongoing training and professional development
·Clear opportunities to progress as the business continues to grow
·A competitive salary and benefits package
This is an ideal opportunity for a confident Revit Technician who wants to broaden their project experience, develop greater responsibility and build a long-term career within a supportive consultancy.
