Rate: Electrician £30.00/hour | Electrician’s Mate £25.00/hour
Electrician:
• Active security clearance (essential — non-negotiable)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
• 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification
• Proven electrical background with hands-on installation, testing, and fault-finding experience
• Full UK driving licence
Electrician’s Mate:
• Active security clearance (essential)
• General understanding of electrical works and site practices
• Electrical background preferred (labouring/assisting experience or trainee level knowledege)
Role
• The Electrician will carry out electrical installation, testing, and maintenance work in line with current regulations and site standards
• The Electrician’s Mate will assist the Electrician with installation and testing tasks, including preparing materials, tools, and work areas
• Both will liaise with site management and other trades as required
• Both will follow site safety procedures and support compliance with electrical regulations throughout the contract
