How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    The Opportunity

    You'll have the freedom and autonomy to develop your own desk while benefiting from the backing of an established and supportive team.

    Your focus will include:

    * Developing new client relationships through proactive business development activity

    * Identifying opportunities in the local market and converting them into long-term business partnerships

    * Growing and managing your own portfolio of clients

    * Building trusted relationships with decision-makers across the Industrial sector

    * Sourcing, attracting and engaging quality candidates

    * Managing vacancies from initial brief through to successful placement

    * Delivering a consultative service that adds genuine value to clients and candidates

    * Increasing your market presence through networking, referrals and targeted marketing activity

    Who We're Looking For

    We're looking for commercial awareness and the ability to covert sales, and a proven sales record.

    You'll likely be someone who:

    * Has a track record of achieving sales targets or winning new business

    * Understands how to identify opportunities and convert them into results

    * Communicates confidently and builds rapport quickly

    * Enjoys negotiating, influencing and developing relationships

    * Takes ownership of challenges and remains motivated when faced with setbacks

    * Has a naturally inquisitive approach and enjoys understanding what makes people and businesses tick

    * Is ambitious and motivated by both personal and financial success

    You'll Stand Out If You Have

    * Experience within Industrial Recruitment

    * Knowledge of manufacturing, warehousing, logistics or distribution environments

    * Previous business development or account management experience
