As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a motivated Trainee Tekla Detailer / Draughtsman to join our friendly and supportive Design Team.

The Role
This is an excellent opportunity to start your career in structural steel detailing.
You'll receive full training in Tekla Structures, steel fabrication processes and company systems while working alongside experienced detailers on a wide range of exciting projects.
You will learn how to produce accurate 3D models and fabrication drawings, communicate with engineers, architects and clients, and support projects from concept through to fabrication.
No structural calculations are required.
Key Responsibilities
* Learn to create detailed 3D steel models using Tekla Structures
* Produce fabrication drawings in line with company standards
* Assist with project coordination alongside senior detailers
* Communicate with clients, engineers and architects
* Liaise with suppliers when required
* Support multiple projects and deadlines
* Develop a strong understanding of structural steel fabrication
Requirements
* Degree or HND/HNC in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction or similar (preferred)
* Recent graduates welcome
* Experience with Tekla Structures or other CAD software would be advantageous
* Strong attention to detail
* Good communication skills
* Organised and eager to learn
* Positive attitude and willingness to develop new skills
