How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    PROJECT & STOCK ADMINISTRATOR

    Syncro Fire & Security | Part of Ranger Group
    Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 (DOE)

    Syncro, part of the Ranger Group, is looking for a highly organised and proactive Project & Stock Administrator to join our growing team. This is a varied and rewarding role combining project administration, stock control, logistics and compliance management. You will play a vital role in keeping projects running smoothly and ensuring our engineers have everything they need to deliver outstanding service.

    What You Will Be Doing

    * Supporting Project Managers, Engineers and Finance teams with project documentation and records.

    * Loading project quotations onto Simpro.

    * Preparing and maintaining O&M manuals.

    * Receiving deliveries, checking goods and maintaining accurate stock records.

    * Managing stock movements and engineer van stock.

    * Picking and distributing materials for projects and service works.

    * Monitoring calibration, testing and compliance requirements for equipment.

    * Maintaining records for vehicles, uniforms, subcontractors and Health & Safety compliance.

    * Liaising with suppliers to resolve delivery and material issues.

    What We Are Looking For

    * Strong administration, business support or contract support experience.

    * Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

    * Strong IT skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

    * Ability to work independently and within a team.

    * Excellent communication and time-management skills.

    * Ability to lift stock items when required.

    * Full clean UK driving licence.

    Desirable Experience

    * Fire & Security industry experience.

    * Stock control experience.

    * Knowledge of Simpro or similar systems.
