How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    E-Commerce Project Manager

    Contract Role - Hybrid Working - Inside IR35 - Banbury
    WordPress | BigCommerce | Payments Integration
    We're supporting a growing organisation on the search for an experienced E-Commerce Project Manager to lead the delivery of key digital commerce initiatives across their online platform.
    This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with a strong background in website, e-commerce and digital transformation projects, capable of coordinating technical teams, business stakeholders and third-party partners to deliver a high-profile e-commerce roadmap.

    The Role

    You will be responsible for managing the delivery of enhancements and projects across a WordPress CMS environment, operating on the BigCommerce platform, with a particular focus on integrations, customer experience improvements and online trading capability.
    Working closely with internal teams and external suppliers, you will ensure projects are delivered efficiently whilst balancing business objectives, user experience and technical requirements.

    Key Responsibilities

    Lead end-to-end delivery of e-commerce projects and platform enhancements
    Manage initiatives across WordPress CMS, BigCommerce and associated integrations
    Coordinate delivery involving internal teams, stakeholders and third-party vendors
    Oversee project plans, budgets, risks and dependencies
    Ensure successful implementation of Stripe payment integrations
    Drive continuous improvements to online customer journeys and digital performance
    Provide clear project governance, reporting and stakeholder communication

    Experience Required

    Proven experience delivering E-Commerce or Digital Project Management engagements
    Strong understanding of WordPress CMS
    Experience working with BigCommerce platforms is ideal
    Knowledge of payment gateway integrations, ideally Stripe
    Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across business and technology functions
    Strong planning, communication and delivery skills
    Experience working within fast-paced digital or retail environments would be advantageous
