Due to continued growth, our client is looking to appoint an experienced Principal Structural Engineer with temporary works experience to lead the delivery of complex projects while helping shape the future of a growing and ambitious structures team.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a technically accomplished engineer who enjoys combining strategic leadership with hands-on design. Working across a diverse portfolio of new-build and refurbishment schemes, the successful candidate will oversee projects from concept through to construction, developing creative, practical and sustainable structural solutions while mentoring and inspiring a talented team of engineers.
The role offers genuine influence over project direction, client relationships and technical excellence. You'll collaborate closely with architects, contractors and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring innovative engineering solutions are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
The successful candidate will have a proven background in structural engineering within the UK building sector, strong experience leading multidisciplinary design teams and the confidence to build lasting client relationships. Excellent commercial awareness, a passion for innovation and the ability to mentor and develop engineers are essential.
