How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    A Mid-level Electronics Engineer with 3+ years' experience of analogue and digital circuit design for a range of high-performance products will bring their technical experience to an award-winning technology company, Global leaders in the design and manufacture of mission critical imaging systems.

    The successful Electronics Engineer will support the development life-cycle for a range of new and existing electronic hardware products where you'll get involved with imaging systems, embedded electronics and ruggedised product development.

    You’ll undertake a range of tasks including:

    * Contributing to the design and development activities from concept through to production.

    * Design, development and support of analogue, digital, power, video, embedded and mixed-signal electronics.

    * Producing Schematics, PCB layout guidance and technical documentation.

    * Undertaking design verification and fault finding on prototypes.

    * Supporting the transfer of new designs into production.

    Skills and Experience should include:

    * Degree in Electronics Engineering or similar discipline.

    * 3+ years industrial experience in analogue, digital, power and mixed-signal circuit design.

    * Proven experience of electronic hardware design for Industrial, Defence, Aerospace, Scientific or other mission critical products.

    * Experience with schematic capture and PCB design processes.

    * Exposure to embedded systems, microcontrollers and FPGA interfaces.
