Are you an experienced HGV driver looking for a stable role where you can make a real difference in your local community?
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated HGV Waste Collection Driver to join our dedicated waste management team operating across the Runnymede area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in their driving, enjoys working outdoors, and wants to be part of a team that helps keep communities clean and safe.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate HGV refuse collection vehicles on assigned routes.
Work alongside the collection crew to complete domestic, recycling, food waste, and commercial waste collections.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and promptly report any defects or maintenance issues.
Provide a professional and friendly service while representing the company within the local community.
Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies at all times.
Complete daily paperwork, vehicle checks, and records accurately.
What We're Looking For
Valid Category C (Class 2) HGV Licence.
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
A positive attitude with strong teamwork and communication skills.
Good understanding of road safety and current driving regulations.
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Previous experience in waste collection or refuse driving is desirable, but not essential.
