We are currently looking for an HGV Technician / Refuse Vehicle Engineer / HGV Mechanic / Municipal Vehicle Technician to join our client’s dedicated Engineering team in their commitment to providing a high standard of service output for their customers.
HGV Technician / Refuse Vehicle Engineer / HGV Mechanic / Municipal Vehicle Technician Required Qualifications:
City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repairs
Car Driving Licence (HGV Licence advantageous but not essential)
HGV Technician / Refuse Vehicle Engineer / HGV Mechanic / Municipal Vehicle Technician Main Duties:
General servicing, maintenance and repair of refuse collection vehicles and municipal fleet
Diagnose and rectify hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and mechanical faults
Carry out vehicle inspections and routine safety checks
MOT preparation and presentation
Ensure all work is completed to DVSA and company standards
Cope with the day-to-day pressures that a busy vehicle workshop brings
