How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Partnership Development Manager
    Our client is an established engineering and manufacturing business with decades of experience supporting industrial and power generation sectors.
    As our client continues to expand globally, they are seeking a motivated and commercially astute Partnership Development Manager to join their team. This position can be home-based with occasional travel to their site near Sheffield as and when required.
    The Partnership Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, securing, and developing strategic relationships with new clients across international markets. The role supports the company’s growth objectives by increasing global market share, diversifying revenue streams, and strengthening our competitive position.
    Key Responsibilities
    Market Research & Strategy
    * Achieving and exceeding order and sales targets
    * leading the client journey from discovery to order conversion
    * Advanced stakeholder engagement and consultative selling skills
    * Build and manage a strong pipeline of high-value opportunities
    * Identify high-potential markets and develop effective market entry strategies.
    Prospecting & Lead Generation
    * Generate and pursue new business opportunities.
    * Build relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
    Negotiation & Contract Management
    * Lead negotiations and secure long-term commercial agreements.
    Cross-Functional Collaboration
    * Work closely with marketing, engineering, and operations teams to tailor solutions for target markets.
    * Work closely with technical, Quality and operations teams to ensure compliance with Client approval requirements
    Experience and Personal Requirements
    Key Skills & Experience
    * BEng/BA in Business, or a related field; an advanced degree (MSc, MBA, PhD) is a plus.
    * You bring several (5+) years of B2B sales,
    * Hunter mentality with consistent revenue achievement
    * Proven experience in global business development and account management within engineering, manufacturing or services organization
    * Strong negotiation and commercial skills.
    * Demonstrable success securing large-scale accounts across multiple regions.
    * Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
    * Curious, commercially aware mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and risks.
    * Results-driven and adaptable.
    Desirable Experience
    * Experience in high-voltage rotating electrical equipment refurbishment and modernisation.
    * Existing network within hydro and nuclear sectors (operators/end users).
    * Experience with rotating Electrical machines
    * Experience selling high-voltage stator bars or coils.
