How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Recruitment Consultant

    Salary: £30,(Apply online only) - £35,(Apply online only) + Uncapped Commission
    Hours: Monday to Friday
    Location: Office-Based - Liverpool

    We're looking for an ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join our successful team, specialising in the Driving & Logistics sector. This is a 360 recruitment role, giving you full ownership of your desk from business development through to candidate placement and account management.

    If you're motivated by building relationships, achieving targets, and earning uncapped commission, we'd love to hear from you.

    The Role

    As a Recruitment Consultant, you will:

    Develop and manage your own client portfolio within the driving sector.
    Generate new business through sales calls, networking, and client visits.
    Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
    Source, interview, and place professional drivers into temporary and permanent roles.
    Advertise vacancies and proactively search for candidates.
    Manage the full recruitment process from vacancy qualification to placement.
    Ensure compliance with industry and legal requirements.
    Deliver exceptional customer service to both clients and candidates.

    What We're Looking For

    Previous recruitment experience preferred.
    Strong sales and business development skills.
    Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
    Self-motivated with a target-driven approach.
    Organised with the ability to manage multiple vacancies.
    A positive attitude and desire to build a successful career in recruitment.
