How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Location: Leicester City
    Daily Rate: £145 - £206 per day (dependent on experience)
    Contract Type: Rolling Contract

    Clarence Recruitment is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Teacher of Spanish (MFL) to join a successful secondary school in Leicester City from the new term on a rolling contract.
    This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate language specialist to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing Spanish whilst fostering an appreciation of different cultures and global perspectives.
    The school is looking for an engaging and motivated teacher who can bring language learning to life and encourage learners of all abilities to achieve their full potential. Applications are welcomed from experienced teachers and ambitious Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

    The Role

    The successful candidate will:

    Teach Spanish across KS3 and KS4.
    Deliver engaging, well-planned, and differentiated lessons that inspire a love of languages.
    Develop students' communication, literacy, and cultural understanding.
    Monitor progress and provide effective feedback to support achievement.
    Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
    Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort, and attainment.
    Contribute to the wider development of the Modern Foreign Languages department.
    Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote outstanding teaching and learning.

    The Ideal Candidate

    We are looking for a Teacher of Spanish who:

    Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
    Has a degree in Spanish, Modern Foreign Languages, or a related subject.
    Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for language learning.
    Can motivate, challenge, and inspire students of varying abilities.
    Has excellent classroom management and communication skills.
    Is committed to raising standards and supporting student success.
    Works effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team.
    Experience teaching GCSE Spanish is desirable but not essential.
