How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are launching and growing our dedicated E‑Waste Division, focused on supporting businesses with compliant, secure and environmentally responsible disposal of electronic waste.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven, self‑starting sales professional to develop a high‑growth market within one of the fastest‑expanding waste streams globally.

    You will play a key role in generating new business, booking appointments and building long‑term commercial relationships across the recycling and data centre sectors.

    The Role

    As a Business Development Executive, you will:

    * Self‑generate new business opportunities

    * Proactively target waste management companies and data centres

    * Manage and develop a CRM database of 1,000+ potential clients

    * Book and attend appointments with key decision makers

    * Drive monthly tonnage volumes

    * Build long‑term client partnerships

    * Represent the business in a professional and consultative manner

    This is a Monday–Friday role with travel required. Mileage and expenses are fully claimable.

    Commission & Bonus Structure

    In addition to a £24,000 basic salary and 10% commission, the role offers strong earning potential through structured bonuses:

    Appointment Bonus (Annual)

    * 0–20 appointments booked: £3,000 bonus

    * 20–30 appointments booked: Additional £3,000

    * 30+ appointments booked: Additional £3,000

    * Over 30 appointments: Extra £750 bonus

    Monthly Tonnage Commission

    * Average 30–50 tonnes per month

    * £300–£500 per month additional commission (based on volume)

    This structure rewards both activity and performance, with clear earning potential for high achievers.

    What is E‑Waste?

    E‑waste (electronic waste) includes discarded electrical and electronic equipment such as:

    * Computers, laptops and servers

    * TVs and displays

    * Printers and peripherals

    * Industrial electronics

    * Batteries and UPS systems

    Why This Market?

    * Rapid technology upgrades

    * Data centre refresh cycles

    * Enterprise IT turnover

    Benefits:

    * Company pension

    Work Location: In person
