Assistant Accountant

What will the Assistant Accountant role involve?

Supporting the finance team in monitoring and analysing expenditure across multiple UK and international cost centres, helping to drive financial insight
Reconciling manufacturing accruals and prepayments, and assisting with variance analysis, contributing to accurate financial reporting
Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing data support for financial planning activities
Performing balance sheet reconciliations, journal postings, and supporting month-end closing activities, including managing reporting decks
Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Accountant vacancy:

Good level of Excel proficiency, including experience with PivotTables and VLOOKUPs
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under deadline pressure
Proactive and positive attitude, with a team-oriented approach and the ability to adapt quickly
