How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Mechanical Project Manager

    £70,000 - £80,000 + Bonus + Travel expenses + Progression + MORE

    Central London

    Tired of feeling like just another Project Manager? Join a growing mechanical contractor where you'll be trusted to deliver projects, build lasting client relationships and play a key part in the company's continued success.
    I'm working with a well-established mechanical contractor that's continuing to grow year on year, securing repeat business with a strong portfolio of commercial clients across London. They're now looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to strengthen their expanding team at an exciting stage of the company's journey.

    This isn't a business where you'll be lost in the crowd. You'll work closely with senior management, have genuine autonomy over your projects, and the opportunity to influence the way projects are delivered as the business continues to expand. Working across commercial mechanical fit-out projects ranging from a few thousand pounds through to £1 million, you'll enjoy plenty of variety, managing multiple projects from pre-start through to successful completion.

    The Role
    Manage mechanical fit-out projects from pre-start through to final handover.
    Oversee project delivery, ensuring programmes, budgets and quality standards are achieved.
    Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
    Attend client and site meetings across London.
    Manage procurement, project reporting and cost control.
    Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. What you'll need:
    Experience delivering mechanical packages within the commercial fit-out sector of up to 1 mil in value 
    Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services.
    Confident managing client relationships and leading project teams.
    A proactive approach with the ability to solve problems and keep projects moving.
