How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Personal Advisor Role

    We are collaborating with a Local Authority in their search for a Personal Advisor to provide support to their Care Leavers Team in Shropshire!

    We are seeking inspired and innovative individuals who can empower care leavers, building on their strengths and assisting them in achieving personal growth and success.

    As a Personal Advisor, you will:

    Support care leavers in their transition to adulthood, helping them build independence, confidence, and stability.
    Empower young people to identify their strengths, set personal goals, and achieve positive life outcomes.
    Enhance services provided to supported families and contribute to improved outcomes for children and young people.
    Build meaningful, trusting relationships with care leavers and professionals across education, housing, and health.
    Promote a restorative and relationship-based approach to practice throughout the service.
    Work within a supportive environment that values collaboration, reflective practice, and professional development.
    Benefit from manageable caseloads, regular supervision, and strong management support.What We're Looking For

    Individuals with experience supporting young people, ideally within care or leaving care services.
