The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

Supervise whole classes during the absence of the class teacher.
Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure students remain on task.
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
Create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment.
Support students with their learning while maintaining high expectations.
Report back to teaching staff on lesson outcomes and student behaviour.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Experience working with secondary-aged students (in a school, youth work, coaching, tutoring, or similar setting).
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Confidence leading groups of students independently.
Flexibility, reliability, and a professional approach.
A genuine passion for supporting young people's education.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
The right to work in the UK.
