Land and Sea Recruitment are currently recruiting for Industrial Cleaners to join our client's team. We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals with previous Industrial Cleaner experience who are committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety within an industrial environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Industrial Cleaners who are confident using industrial cleaning machinery and specialist cleaning chemicals. Due to the nature of the site, successful applicants must be able to meet strict security and vetting requirements before starting work.
The Role
As an Industrial Cleaner, you will play a vital role in ensuring production and operational areas remain clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations. You will be responsible for cleaning machinery, production areas, floors, and other industrial workspaces using specialist equipment and approved cleaning products.
The successful Industrial Cleaner will be expected to work efficiently while following all company procedures, health and safety guidelines, and cleaning schedules.
Duties Include
* Carrying out industrial cleaning across production and operational areas.
* Cleaning machinery, equipment, floors, walls, and workstations.
* Operating industrial cleaning machinery safely and effectively.
* Using specialist cleaning chemicals in accordance with COSHH regulations.
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the site.
* Disposing of waste correctly and safely.
* Following cleaning schedules and completing required documentation.
* Reporting any maintenance issues or hazards to management.
* Wearing appropriate PPE at all times.
* Adhering to all site health and safety procedures.
Requirements
To be considered for this Industrial Cleaner position, you must have:
* Previous Industrial Cleaner experience within an industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment.
* Experience operating industrial cleaning machinery.
* Experience using industrial cleaning chemicals safely.
* A good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
* Reliability and punctuality.
Security Clearance Requirements
Due to the nature of this position, all applicants for this Industrial Cleaner role must be able to satisfy the following requirements:
* Be able to provide a continuous 3-year employment history with no unexplained gaps.
* Be a current UK resident.
* Be willing and able to undergo Security Clearance (SC) checks.
* Have no unspent or pending criminal convictions.
* Be able to provide satisfactory employment references.
