How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Graduate Transport Planner
    £25,000 - £30,000 + Training + Progression + Bonus + Private Healthcare + Profit Share Scheme
    Birmingham (Commutable from: Wolverhampton, Dudley, Stourbridge, Tamworth, Solihull, Coventry, Walsall)

    Are you a recent graduate, looking to join a market leading business where you will receive specialist training and progression, allowing you to become a technical expert within a niche industry?

    This is an excellent opportunity for someone from an Engineering, Geography or similar background, looking to kickstart their career with a rapidly growing business.

    The company is an industry UK leading consultancy. Due to recent expansion, and the opening of brand-new offices, they are now looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their team.

    In this varied role, you will work within the Transport department to assist with Transport assessments, statements and travel plans. You will liaise with clients, stakeholders and other departments to contribute to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

    The ideal candidate will be looking to develop their career with a market leading company, known for heavily investing in their employees.

    The Role:
    * Assist with Transport assessments, statements and travel plans.
    * Specialist Training.
