How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    We're recruiting for an ambitious Farm & Estate Agent to join a successful rural property team, working across farm, estate, land and rural property transactions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong rural property market knowledge who wants to develop client relationships, win new business, and play a key role in the future growth of a thriving agency department.

    Description

    Develop and manage a pipeline of farm, estate, land and rural property instructions across the region.
    Secure new business through networking, relationship building and market expertise.
    Handle the sale and purchase of farms, estates, land and rural property from appraisal through to completion.
    Provide practical, commercial advice to private clients, landowners and rural businesses.
    Work closely with internal marketing specialists to deliver high-quality property campaigns.
    Collaborate with colleagues across multiple disciplines to ensure clients receive comprehensive property advice.
    Represent the business at client meetings, market appraisals, industry events and networking opportunities.
    Identify opportunities to grow market share and expand the department's presence across the region.
    Contribute ideas, market insight and leadership to support the continued growth of the teamProfile

    MRICS qualification, or equivalent experience within farm and rural estate agency.
    Proven experience handling farm, estate, land or rural property sales.
    Strong knowledge of rural property markets and associated legislation.
    Excellent commercial awareness and business development skills.
    Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building abilities.
    A proactive and self-motivated approach with the confidence to work autonomously.
    Excellent organisation and planning skills.
