About the role
As Health and Safety Advisor for the North, you'll provide expert H&S advice and assurance across our social housing operations. You'll support managers to manage risk effectively, deliver safety training programmes, conduct audits, investigate accidents, and drive safety culture improvement.

About you
The essentials
NEBOSH General Certificate
Deep understanding of current UK H&S legislative and regulatory requirements
Experience of internal auditing in H&S
Experience applying H&S legislation and risk management in housing, local authority, healthcare, education or public sector
Proven ability to provide practical H&S advice to operational managers in a customer-facing setting
Driven, inquisitive, accountable, open and honest – taking ownership to ensure best outcomes
Excellent stakeholder relationship building skills
The desirables
Social housing sector experience (strongly preferred)
Regulated public sector background (local government, healthcare, education or housing)
Customer-focused mindset
Familiarity with H&S management systems
