We're supporting a global manufacturing business who are looking to recruit a Systems & Training Coordinator to join their Operations team.

What's the role all about?
As the Systems & Training Coordinator, you'll be responsible for coordinating training, maintaining competency frameworks and ensuring employees are fully trained and compliant to perform their roles safely and effectively.
Working closely with Managers, Team Leaders, Learning & Development and Quality teams, you'll identify training needs, maintain training systems and support apprenticeship programmes while ensuring compliance with GMP and company standards.
This is a varied role that combines training coordination, systems administration and continuous improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
Training & Development
Coordinate and support training activities across the manufacturing department
Identify training needs and competency gaps with Managers and Team Leaders
Maintain training plans, competency matrices and development records
Support onboarding, cross-training and employee development initiatives
Coordinate and administer apprenticeship programmes
Support on-the-job training, competency assessments and validation activities
Systems & Documentation
Maintain and continuously improve training records and documentation
Review, update and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Codes of Practice
Develop training materials to support new equipment, processes and procedures
Ensure training systems remain compliant with business and regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate records to support audits and compliance activities
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
Work closely with Learning & Development and Quality teams to ensure training programmes meet GMP, quality and regulatory requirements
Support internal audits and compliance activities
Ensure training assessors remain qualified and compliant
Liaise with external training providers and apprenticeship verifiers
Promote a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence
Support departmental improvement projects and business initiatives
What you'll need
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
Experience within a Training Coordinator, Learning & Development or Competency Management role
Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
Strong organisational and planning skills
Excellent administration and record management abilities
Experience maintaining training records and competency matrices
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
Experience working within GMP or other regulated manufacturing environments
Knowledge of apprenticeship frameworks and competency assessments
Experience developing SOPs, training materials or work instructions
Understanding of Quality Management Systems
Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives
