How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Title: Operations Coordinator & Administrator

    Location: City of London (within walking distance of Bank Station)
    Pay Rate: £19 - £22 per hour!
    Contract: Temporary - Ongoing
    Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
    Start Date: ASAP

    Key Duties & Responsibilities:

    Manage the day-to-day running of the office and facilities function.
    Act as the first point of contact for visitors, contractors, and suppliers.
    Coordinate office maintenance, repairs, and facilities-related requests.
    Liaise with building management and external service providers.
    Manage office supplies, stationery, refreshments, and stock levels.
    Raise purchase orders and process invoices.
    Ensure meeting rooms are organised, presentable, and fully equipped.
    Support health & safety procedures and workplace compliance.
    Handle incoming calls, post, deliveries, and general enquiries.

    Requirements:
    Previous experience in a Facilities, Office Administration, Reception, or Workplace Support role.
    Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
    Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    Proactive, professional, and highly organised.
    Positive, can-do attitude with strong attention to detail.
    Able to work independently and as part of a team.
