Location: Feltham, Greater London
Salary: £40,000 per year plus paid overtime
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, with occasional evenings and weekends
Job type: Permanent, full time
We are recruiting a professional and dependable Security Driver to transport luxury and high value goods across London and the UK.
This is primarily a driving role with no sales or general warehouse duties. You will represent the company when dealing with prestigious clients, so discretion, reliability and excellent customer service are essential.
Key responsibilities
* Collect and deliver high value consignments securely and on time
* Load, secure and unload valuable goods carefully
* Complete daily vehicle and security checks
* Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and electronic records
* Follow strict security, safety and quality procedures
* Communicate professionally with clients and operations teams
Essential requirements
* Full UK driving licence acceptable under company insurance requirements
* At least 12 months of recent commercial driving experience
* Safe and responsible driving record
* Excellent spoken and written English
* Right to work in the UK
* Professional appearance and customer focused attitude
* Flexible regarding occasional evenings, weekends and longer UK journeys
* Complete and independently verifiable five year employment history
* Ability to explain and evidence any employment gaps
Security, high value delivery, secure courier, cash and valuables, mobile patrol, close protection driving or commercial van driving experience would be advantageous.
Previous security experience is not essential. Full SIA training and licensing will be funded for the right candidate.
Benefits include £40,000 basic salary, paid overtime, 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays, company pension, free onsite parking and specialist security training.
