This position will be joining our thriving UK medical device manufacturing company to work within our Group Engineering Department, supporting operations across our global manufacturing sites in the UK, China, USA, and Malaysia.
The successful candidate will be able to drive continuous improvement initiatives within injection moulding operations while supporting the transfer, validation, and implementation of new moulds, machines, and processes across our global manufacturing sites. They will provide technical guidance, coaching, and hands-on training to engineering and production teams, working collaboratively with cross-functional departments to optimise manufacturing performance and ensure compliance with medical device quality and regulatory standards.
Essential Experience/Qualifications
Extensive experience in injection moulding process optimisation
Injection Moulding Machine Specification
Knowledge and understanding of Thermoplastic materials, Process Optimisation, Injection Mould tooling, DFM, FMEA, Validation
Desirable Experience/Qualifications
A degree in Engineering or equivalent level qualification
Mould tool manufacturing
Master Moulder
Experience in Medical device manufacturing
Experience in Blow moulding and Extrusion
Mould Flow Analysis
