General Operative

This welcoming, well-established manufacturing company on the outskirts of Nottingham, who is looking for a proactive Production Operative to join their production team. What you'll be doing:
You’ll play an important role in supporting production and business operations, including:

Working across production areas — machine minding, secondary operations, packing, assembling and more
*
Using ERP to book labour and update records
*
Carrying out stock taking and updating spreadsheets
*
Inputting data with accuracy and attention to detail
*
Reporting hazards or near-misses using iAuditor
*
Suggesting improvements and supporting continuous improvement activities
*
Following production processes, quality standards, GMP/GDP and good housekeeping
*
Taking part in training to build your skills and knowledge
What We’re Looking For
*
Previous experience in a machine operative role
*
Good attention to detail
*
Comfortable using computers or handheld devices
*
Accurate written and verbal communication skills
*
Ability to follow instructions and work to processes
*
Dexterity and confidence in hands-on work
*
Basic mechanical skills (advantageous)
*
Experience with ERP systems (advantageous)

Working Hours Standard Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 15:30
Friday: 07:00 – 12:30
Shift Rotation (every 4–6 weeks) Afternoons (paid at x 1.25 hourly rate):
Mon–Thu: 14:00 – 22:30
Fri: 11:00 – 16:30
