You'll take products from first sketch through to full production, working across a mix of team projects and your own solo jobs.
The role:
* Manage the full product lifecycle: concept, design, prototyping, testing, production
* Work within a development team and independently on your own projects
* Build physical models and prototypes, and test them in the workshop
* Spot design or production issues early and engineer solid fixes
What you'll need:
* Strong 3D CAD skills (Ideally Solidworks or similar)
* MEng or Product Design Degree/Qualifications
* Nice to have: Good knowledge of materials and manufacturing methods: injection moulding, CNC, sheet metal, casting
* Nice to have: Comfortable using workshop tools to build and test models
* A curious, analytical, problem-solving mindset
* Full UK working rights - unable to offer sponsorship
Salary: circa £30,000, excellent working culture, plenty of opportunities for training and progression.
