How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Electrician

    £40,000 - £42,500 + Progression + Fantastic Training + Plentiful Overtime + Company Vehicle + Local Patch + No Stays Away + No Callout

    Commutable from Sussex, Brighton, Shoreham-by-Sea, Worthing, Littlehampton, Arundel, and surrounding areas

    This company are an established housing services provider who are going from strength to strength. Due to this success they are looking to expand their team with motivated electricians.

    In this role you will be based around the Sussex area, carrying out installation, testing, and maintenance across various industries, including social housing.

    This role would suit a qualified electrician (17th/ 18th edition or similar). You should also have a 2391 Inspection and Test certificate or be on track to gain it before October.

    The Role:

    Monday - Friday, 40 hours
    Field based across Sussex (Brighton - Arundel)
    Installation, maintenance, testingThe Person:

    Experience as an electrician
    Relevant electrical qualifications, such as 18th edition, 17th edition, NVQ level 3, AM 2, JIB Gold Card, 2391 test and inspection
    Full UK Driver's license
