Position: Employment Specialist (BR9)
Location: Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley, BR1 1AS

Contract Duration: 3+ Months
Working Hours: 35 hours per week
Pay Rate: PAYE: £ 142.92 per day

Job Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one employment support and coaching to Bromley residents facing barriers to work.
Manage a caseload, creating action plans and supporting job searches, CVs, applications, and interviews.
Help participants overcome employment barriers and move into sustainable work.
Engage with employers to source job opportunities and support inclusive recruitment.
Provide in-work coaching and support to improve job retention and career progression.
Work with Jobcentre Plus, healthcare providers, community organisations, and council teams.
Maintain accurate case records and update CRM/case management systems.
Support programme targets, outreach activities, and participant engagement.
Person Specification
Skills & Experience
Experience in employment support, vocational coaching, careers advice, or employability services.
Experience supporting people with health conditions, disabilities, or other barriers to employment.
Strong knowledge of CV writing, job searching, interview preparation, and career guidance.
Experience managing caseloads and delivering personalised support plans.
Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working with employers and partner organisations.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Knowledge
Understanding of employment support services and pathways into work.
Knowledge of barriers to employment and workplace inclusion.
Awareness of Equality Act 2010 and reasonable adjustments.
Understanding of employer engagement and recruitment practices.
Knowledge of Jobcentre Plus/DWP services is desirable.
Qualifications
Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in employment support, vocational rehabilitation, careers guidance, or related fields.
