TeacherActive is working with a welcoming primary school in Sheffield looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. The school is seeking someone with the right attitude, a genuine passion for education and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
The role:
Supporting pupils in class and through small group interventions.
Providing 1:1 support where required.
Encouraging confidence, independence and a love of learning.
Working closely with teachers to create a positive classroom environment.
Supporting pupils with a range of learning needs, including SEND where appropriate.
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
Holds a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience).
Is warm, patient and approachable.
Has excellent communication skills and enjoys working as part of a team.
Has a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
