How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Instructional Designer

    Location: Dublin
    Contract Length: 6 months (potential of becoming permanent employee)
    Pay Rate: €52 per hour (PAYE)
    Hours: 40 hours per week

    We are looking for an Instructional Designer to join a dynamic training team supporting buyers and inventory planners. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong writer and self-driven learner who is passionate about creating engaging learning experiences and simplifying complex concepts.

    You will work closely with subject matter experts to design, develop and maintain high-quality training programmes, online job aids and learning materials that help teams succeed.

    Key Responsibilities

    Collaborate with subject matter experts to define learning objectives.
    Conduct training needs analyses and assess existing documentation.
    Design and develop engaging training content for classroom, online and blended learning environments.
    Create evaluation tools to measure learning outcomes and knowledge transfer.
    Build processes and templates to streamline the development of training materials.
    Maintain and update existing learning programmes to ensure content remains accurate and relevant.About You

    The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills. You will be passionate about helping people learn and confident translating complex information into clear, accessible content.

    Skills and Experience

    Experience in instructional design, technical writing or a related educational field.
    Knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning methodologies and knowledge management.
    Experience creating online learning materials, job aids and classroom training content.
    Strong writing and stakeholder management skills.
    Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Preferred Experience

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, HTML and Photoshop.
    Experience with e-learning tools such as Captivate or Viewlet Builder.
    Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
    Experience developing content for both online and classroom-based learning.
