The Role
*
Deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is advantageous but not essential).
*
Plan and prepare lessons in line with the national curriculum.
*
Assess, monitor, and support student progress.
*
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
*
Work collaboratively with the wider Science department and school staff.
The Ideal Candidate
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*
Experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school.
*
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
*
A passion for inspiring students and raising attainment.
*
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
*
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable, or willingness to obtain one.
