How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    About the role

    The Senior HR Business Partner day-to-day management of a small but global HR team, acting as a Business Partner to the engine of the business, our Service Operations and Cyber Practice while also getting hands-on with some of our most important change programmes resulting from M&A and TUPE. If you enjoy the mix of steady operational leadership and meaningful project delivery, this role gives you both.

    This isn’t a standard Maternity Cover position, you will get an opportunity to make change and bring your expertise to the team to continue to evolve and mature the function.

    What you’ll do

    * Lead and develop a small, global HR team day-to-day, setting clear priorities and coaching them to deliver at pace

    * Act as a trusted business partner to senior leaders, providing pragmatic, commercially aligned HR advice

    * Own employee relations casework across the business - absence, conduct, performance, grievances, disciplinaries, restructures and consultations - handled fairly, consistently and in line with local legilsation

    * Keep on top of employment legislation across our countries of operation, working with local leaders and legal advisors to stay compliant

    * Coach and upskill managers, driving consistent performance management practices and manager toolkits

    * Own HR reporting and dashboards - headcount, turnover, absence, recruitment and ER - turning data into insight and recommendations

    * Step up as Programme Manager for key HR-led change programmes, and act as Deputy to the HR Director when needed

    What you’ll bring

    * Essential: proven experience as a people manager, confident leading and developing a team

    * Generalist HR leadership experience, ideally with ownership of HR Operations and Recruitment

    * Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and best-practice ER case management

    * A global mindset, comfortable navigating employment practices across multiple territories

    * A confident stakeholder manager, able to influence senior leaders and coach managers at all levels

    * Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn people data into meaningful action

    * Commercial acumen, balancing risk with pragmatism, and the resilience to manage competing priorities calmly
