THE ROLE:
As a Litigation Solicitor, you will manage a varied caseload, providing expert advice and representation across both civil and commercial litigation matters. This role involves working with a broad client base, handling disputes ranging from contractual issues and property disputes, to debt recovery and contentious probate.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing a caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters from instruction to completion.
* Representing clients in court proceedings and negotiating settlements.
* Conducting legal research and preparing case strategies.
* Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements and settlement agreements.
* Liaising with clients, other solicitors, and court personnel in a professional manner.
* Supporting and mentoring junior staff when required.
ABOUT YOU:
To be considered for this role, you need to:
* Be a qualified Solicitor with at least 4 years’ PQE in Litigation (Civil or Commercial)
* Have a strong understanding of the litigation process and proven advocacy skills.
* Have excellent communication and client care abilities.
* Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Have solid organisational skills, with the ability to manage a busy caseload effectively.
