How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    * Performance-related bonus

    * Join a well-established, family-run care provider with a strong reputation for quality care

    * Hands-on senior leadership team

    * Genuine autonomy to lead your own home

    * Ongoing professional development and career progression

    * Opportunity to lead a large, Good CQC-rated service

    The Role

    As Home Manager, you'll have overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care while delivering strong operational and commercial performance.

    You'll be responsible for:

    * Leading, developing and inspiring your team

    * Maintaining compliance with CQC standards and regulatory requirements

    * Driving occupancy and building positive relationships within the local community

    * Managing budgets and financial performance

    * Ensuring high standards of clinical governance and person-centred care

    * Supporting residents, families and colleagues to create a positive and caring environment

    * Working closely with senior leadership to continue developing the service

    About You

    We're looking for someone who has:

    * Previous experience as a Registered Home Manager within elderly care

    * Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and a track record of maintaining high-quality standards

    * Experience leading residential, nursing or dementia services

    * Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills

    * Commercial awareness, including occupancy, budgets and performance management

    * An active NMC PIN (RGN or RMN) would be advantageous, although experienced non-nurse Home Managers will also be considered

    If you're an experienced Home Manager looking to join a supportive provider where you'll have the autonomy to lead while being backed by an approachable senior leadership team, we'd love to hear from you
