How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Before and After School Club Team Leader & School Administrator

    We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and dedicated individual to join a Primary School in Sale for an exciting dual-role position, leading the thriving wraparound care provision while also supporting the day-to-day administration within a busy school office.

    As Wraparound Care Leader, you will oversee the daily operation of a popular breakfast and after-school provision, ensuring a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for children aged 3-11.

    Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and school office, you will plan and deliver engaging activities, lead and support the wraparound care team, communicate effectively with parents and carers, and ensure the highest standards of care, safeguarding and compliance are maintained. Alongside this, you will undertake key administrative responsibilities within the school office, providing an efficient and professional service to pupils, families and staff.

    Working hours would be:
    Monday 10.15am 6.00pm (After School Club 3.00pm 6.00pm)
    Tuesday 10.15am 6.00pm (After School Club 3.00pm 6.00pm)
    Wednesday 7.30am 2.15pm (Breakfast Club 7.30am 9.00am)
    Thursday 9.15am 6.00 pm (After School Club 3.00pm 6.00pm)
    Friday 7.30am 3.15pm (Breakfast Club 7.30am 9.00am)

    To be considered for this role, you will need:

    A Level 3 qualification or suitable qualifications that would work for the role
    Proven experience working with children in the primary age
    Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
    A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
    A thorough understanding of safeguarding practices and child development.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, leading a team and contributing to the smooth running of a welcoming school community.
