How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Fabricator / MIG Welder - Night Shift

    Location: Bridlington

    Night Shift

    Monday to Friday 5pm - 1:30am
    £21.30 - £22.66 per hour (depending on experience)

    Introduction

    ES Recruit is seeking skilled Fabricators/MIG Welders to join a well-established manufacturing business in Bridlington. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern production facility that offers a safe working environment, quality equipment, and ongoing investment in its workforce.

    Key Responsibilities

    As part of the fabrication team, your responsibilities will include:

    Manufacturing structural steel components from technical drawings.
    Carrying out MIG welding to the required specifications.
    Reading and interpreting engineering drawings accurately.
    Inspecting completed welds and fabricated parts to ensure quality standards are met.
    Completing relevant quality and production documentation.
    Meeting production targets while maintaining high workmanship standards.
    Keeping your work area clean, organised, and safe.
    Following all company health and safety policies and procedures.Requirements

    Previous experience in a Fabricator or MIG Welder role.
    The ability to confidently read engineering drawings.
    Proven MIG welding experience.
    Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
    A good understanding of fabrication techniques and welding processes.
    A reliable work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
