How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    The Role

As an RF Test Engineer, you'll be responsible for testing and fault-finding complex electronic and RF products throughout the production process, ensuring systems meet demanding quality standards before customer delivery.

Alongside RF testing and system validation, you'll support a variety of production activities, giving you exposure across the full manufacturing process while working closely with engineering colleagues to continually improve products and test procedures.

    Key Responsibilities

Carry out final system configuration and functional testing
Operate RF test equipment including spectrum analysers and signal generators
Validate and improve production test procedures and processes
Support mechanical assembly, cable assembly and wiring activities where required
Assist with product kitting for both internal manufacture and subcontract production
Work to agreed production schedules whilst maintaining exceptional quality standards
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across production and testing

    What We're Looking For

You'll have previous experience working within an electronics or RF test environment and enjoy practical engineering and problem solving.

    You'll ideally have experience of:

RF electronics testing and fault diagnosis
    Radio communication products
Spectrum analysers, signal generators and RF test equipment
    Board-level fault finding and repair
    Electronic production or manufacturing environments
Reading engineering drawings and technical documentation

Experience in any of the following would also be advantageous:

    Product assembly
    Wiring and cable assembly
    Crimping techniques
    Production kitting MRP systems

A HND (or equivalent) in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline would be beneficial, although candidates with relevant commercial experience are equally encouraged to apply.
