How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Description:

    As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling fabricated components onto specialist vehicle bodies, ensuring every build is completed to a high standard. The Assembler role involves fitting frames, drums, hydraulic components and ancillary equipment using engineering drawings and assembly instructions. You'll work closely with experienced colleagues in a busy production environment, using a range of hand and power tools while maintaining exceptional quality and safety standards.

    The successful Assembler will play a key part in ensuring production schedules are achieved while maintaining excellent workmanship and attention to detail. This Assembler position offers a varied workload where no two days are the same, making it ideal for someone who enjoys practical engineering and working as part of a collaborative team.

    Skills & Experience:

    Previous experience as an Assembler or within a manufacturing, production or engineering environment.

    *

    Experience working with hand and power tools.

    *

    Knowledge of mechanical assembly, hydraulics or electrical systems would be highly advantageous.

    Able to read and follow engineering drawings or assembly instructions.

    *

    Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

    Physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
