The Opportunity
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students throughout the school day. You will work closely with teaching staff to help create a positive learning environment, ensuring pupils receive the encouragement and guidance needed to succeed.
Main Responsibilities
Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and classroom activities.
Provide targeted support to students individually and in small groups.
Help pupils develop confidence, independence, and positive learning habits.
Support students with their academic, social, and emotional needs.
Encourage positive behaviour and contribute to a welcoming classroom environment.
Prepare resources and assist with daily classroom organisation.
Work collaboratively with staff to support student progress.
Person Specification
Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
A genuine passion for supporting students and improving outcomes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A caring, patient, and proactive approach.
Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
Right to work in the UK.
