How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Business Analyst - Workday HCM Transformation (24-Month FTC)

Location: London (4 days per week)
Contract: Full-Time, 24-Month Fixed Term Contract
Salary: Up to £80,000 plus 10% bonus, Private Medical Insurance (PMI) and competitive pension scheme

    About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the implementation and optimisation of Workday HCM as part of a wider people systems and operational transformation programme.

Working across a complex, federated organisation, you will partner closely with HR, Reward, Finance, IT and operational stakeholders to understand current processes, define future-state requirements, and support the successful delivery of Workday through system integration partners.

This is a highly business-facing role focused on HR processes, requirements gathering, process improvement, validation, and user adoption rather than technical system configuration. The ideal candidate will bring strong HR process knowledge and experience working across complex, multi-entity environments.

    Key Responsibilities

Provide Business Analysis support for the Workday HCM programme across multiple operating companies.
Work closely with HR, Reward, Finance and operational stakeholders to elicit, document and validate business requirements.
Map end-to-end hire-to-retire and employee lifecycle processes, identifying gaps, risks and opportunities for standardisation.
Translate HR process requirements into clear specifications for Workday delivery and integration partners.
Produce business requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
Support the design of organisational structures aligned to a federated operating model.
Assess the impact of new Workday processes on HR teams, managers and employees.
Validate workforce data outputs to ensure accuracy, compliance and alignment with agreed business requirements.
Collaborate with IT and Data teams to ensure integrations support agreed business processes.
Lead or support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, scenario definition, execution support and defect management. Essential Skills & Experience

Exposure to Workday HCM is desirable but not essential.
Proven experience in requirements elicitation and documentation.
Strong business process mapping experience across hire-to-retire and employee lifecycle processes.
Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
Strong understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle activities.
Experience working on HCM implementation projects, ideally involving Workday.
Experience supporting UAT for HR processes and business users.
Ability to validate workforce data outputs and reporting requirements. If you are an experienced Business Analyst with strong HR process expertise and experience supporting HCM transformation programmes, this is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact within a large-scale organisational transformation
