Multi Skilled Engineer - Thetford
Salary: £52,275.00 per annum
Shift Pattern: Continental Shifts (4 on, 4 off – Days & Nights)
TXM Recruit is currently recruiting for three Multi Skilled Engineers to join a leading food manufacturing business at its facility in Thetford.
As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining the site's production equipment, providing both reactive and planned maintenance. You'll be responsible for supporting production targets, and contributing to the site's ongoing engineering strategy.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance to ensure all equipment is safe, reliable, and production ready.
* Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns
* Perform both reactive and proactive mechanical and electrical maintenance across the site.
* Complete all maintenance tasks in line with the daily engineering schedule.
* Identify and request replacement parts required for repairs, following up where necessary.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and engineering documentation.

Requirements
We're looking for experienced Multi Skilled Engineers with either a strong electrical or mechanical bias, who are confident working within a fast-paced food manufacturing.
Qualifications
* Recognised engineering qualification.
* Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
* Previous experience in food manufacturing or a similar high-speed production environment.
