How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Drainage CCTV Processor
    Location: Battle, East Sussex
    Salary: Circa £40,000 pa depending on experience
    Contract Type: Permanent

    Vector Recruitment Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Drainage CCTV Processor / CCTV Analyst / CCTV Report Writer to join a specialist drainage rehabilitation business in East Sussex.

    This is an office-based technical role where you'll play a key part in reviewing CCTV drainage surveys, producing accurate MSCC5-compliant reports, and supporting major wastewater infrastructure and CIPP rehabilitation projects across the South of England.

    If you have a strong understanding of WinCan, MSCC5 defect coding, and CCTV survey reporting, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing specialist contractor with genuine career progression.

    The Role
    Review and analyse CCTV drainage survey footage from foul, surface water, and combined sewer networks
    Code pipe defects in accordance with MSCC5 and client specifications
    Produce accurate, professional survey reports using industry-standard software
    Assess pre and post-rehabilitation CCTV surveys to verify the quality of CIPP lining installations
    Quality check reports and survey data submitted by field teams, maintaining digital survey records
    Liaise with Surveyors, Engineers, and Project Managers to ensure accurate reporting and support project delivery
    About You
    Proven experience as a Drainage CCTV Processor, CCTV Analyst, CCTV Surveyor, or CCTV Report Writer
    OS19X qualification and strong knowledge of MSCC5
    Experience using WinCan or similar CCTV reporting software
    Excellent attention to detail and technical reporting skills
    Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or within a technical team
    Full UK driving licence
