How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    SEN Teaching Assistant (KS1) – 1:1 Autism Support
    ksLocation: Clapham, Lambeth (SW4)
    Pay: £109 per day
    Start Date: September 2026

    A friendly and inclusive primary school in Clapham, Lambeth (SW4) is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a KS1 pupil with Autism (ASC) from September 2026.
    This role would suit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who has a strong academic background and a passion for supporting children with additional needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping the child access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential.
    Key Responsibilities
    Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with Autism within a KS1 classroom.
    Support the child's academic, social, and emotional development.
    Deliver targeted interventions and adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.
    Support literacy development through effective use of phonics programmes and early reading strategies.
    Promote engagement, independence, and positive behaviour.
    Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, parents, and external professionals.Requirements
    Previous experience supporting children with Autism (ASC) on a 1:1 basis.
    Strong understanding and experience of phonics and early literacy development.
    Strong academic background with excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
    Patient, proactive, and nurturing approach.
    Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    Experience working in a primary school setting is essential.What's on Offer?
