How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

A growing construction consultancy in London is looking for a Project Manager to join its successful team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who can deliver smaller projects independently while supporting Directors on larger commercial and hotel developments.

The Project Manager will work across a portfolio that is approximately 75% commercial, with the remaining projects focused mainly on hospitality projects. This Project Manager role would suit a capable Project Manager who is comfortable taking ownership of projects, managing clients, and supporting senior colleagues on more complex commissions. The successful Project Manager will also benefit from strong chartership support and a proven record of helping project management professionals achieve MRICS.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience as a Project Manager to be considered for this role.

    The Project Manager's role

The Project Manager will lead smaller commercial and hotel projects while helping Directors deliver larger and more complex schemes.

The Project Manager will manage programmes, consultants, procurement, reporting, risks, meetings, contract administration, and contractor performance from inception through to completion.

The Project Manager will act as a key client contact, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, monitor project progress, and maintain clear reporting throughout delivery. They will also support larger projects by taking ownership of defined workstreams and helping senior colleagues maintain programme, cost, quality, and stakeholder expectations.

    The Project Manager

The successful Project Manager will have:

Prior project management experience within a construction consultancy
    Strong commercial project experience
Hotel project experience would be beneficial
The ability to deliver smaller projects with limited assistance
Experience supporting senior colleagues on larger projects
    A relevant construction-related degree
MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, or a genuine desire to achieve chartership
    Good knowledge of JCT contracts
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
A proactive, organised, and commercially aware approach

    In Return?

    £48,000 - £60,000
    Structured MRICS and APC support
    Professional membership support
    Predominantly commercial project portfolio
    Exposure to hotel developments
    Direct involvement with Directors
    Pension contribution
Clear progression to Senior Project Manager
