How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    An excellent opportunity for an experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to join a well-established company.

    Job Type: Full-Time – Permanent.

    Salary: Competitive Salary. Depending on Experience (OTE £52,000 - £58,000)

    Location: Teesside, North Yorkshire.

They offer comprehensive in-house training to ensure that all engineers meet and often exceed the minimum recommended guidelines for accreditation.

    Key Duties:

    * Effectively diagnose, identify faults and failures with equipment and systems, providing effective solutions and repairs.

    * Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance

    * Complete all documents associated with reactive & planned preventative maintenance works

    * Liaise closely with the client (Commercial clients) to maintain excellent customer relations

    * Work in a safe and controlled manor following all necessary internal health & safety processes and client specific site requirements

    Candidate Requirement:

    * Experienced Refrigeration & Air conditioning engineer, with a minimum Refrigeration Handling C&G 2079 (FGas)

    * An individual who has previously worked on a variety of Refrigeration Systems, Fridge, Freezers, Display Cabinets, Cold-rooms, Chillers

    * Air-conditioning experience on Split A/C Systems also VRV, AHU

    * Mechanical and Electrical Skills

    * Full Driving license

    * Clean Enhanced DBS
