Pay Rate: £17.88 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 3:30pm
Multi Trades Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-respected construction materials manufacturing company for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join their team.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering construction materials across Essex and London using a flatbed vehicle. The vehicle is fitted with a Moffett forklift, which you will use to load and unload materials at customer sites. Full Moffett training will be provided if required.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver construction materials safely and efficiently across Essex and London.
* Load and unload deliveries using the vehicle-mounted Moffett forklift (training provided).
* Secure loads and pallets using ratchet straps.
* Complete daily vehicle checks and delivery paperwork.
* Maintain excellent customer service while representing the company.
Requirements
* Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.
* Valid Driver CPC qualification.
* Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
* Physically fit
* Experience driving flatbed vehicles is desirable.
* Confident using ratchet straps to secure loads.
* Applicants must be 25 years of age or older due to company insurance requirements.
