How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Working closely with client stakeholders, contract teams and specialist partners, you’ll identify, shape and deliver a robust pipeline of project opportunities.

Your work will span a diverse portfolio—from corporate refurbishments to life sciences modifications, from healthcare upgrades to workplace optimisation.

Building short, medium and long‑term project pipelines across your customer portfolio

Using LCR and FMR data to support long‑term capex planning

Leveraging on‑site presence to uncover new opportunities and strengthen relationships

Hosting clients, presenting case studies, and positioning OUR CLIENT as trusted advisor

Working with developers, designers and subcontractors to define and document scope

Managing tender processes and analysing sub‑contractor returns

Acting as Principal Contractor under CDM regulations

Identifying and managing statutory, commercial and QHSE risk

Overseeing daily project operations including estimating, QS, subcontractor and site management

Ensuring full adherence to project governance, policies and documentation standards

Managing P&L performance and commercial terms to protect margins and minimise risk

Delivering monthly reports and maintaining full, clear project documentation

    What You’ll Bring

    Qualifications (desirable but not essential)

Technical qualification in Construction, Mechanical or Electrical disciplines

Degree in Project or Construction Management

    APM or PRINCE2 certification

    SMSTS, CDM competency, NEBOSH, IOSH

    CSCS Black Card

    Experience

Proven project management experience in M&E, construction, FM or critical environments

Demonstrable track record in developing new project opportunities

    Experience running a P&L

Bid, tender and proposal creation and management

Leading teams in high‑pressure, customer‑focused environments

    Skills & Attributes

A natural relationship builder with strong influencing skills

Highly organised, detail‑driven and commercially aware

A proactive problem‑solver able to challenge the status quo

Energised, confident and able to inspire trust

Strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management ability

    Creative, analytical and resilient

Politically astute and able to work across complex business environments

    Travel Requirements

Some travel and occasional overnight stays may be required to support operational delivery, training and business reviews.
